Make Your Own Dog Biscuits 2 cups whole wheat flour 1/2 cup rye or buckwheat flour 1/2 cup brewer's yeast 1 cup bulgur wheat 1/4 cup parsley flakes 1/4 cup dry milk 1/2 cup cornmeal 1 tsp. dry yeast 1/4 cup warm water 1 cup chicken broth 1 egg beaten wih 1 tbsp. milk (glase) 1/2 tsp. garlic powder Combine flour, brewer's yeast, bulgur, cormeal, parsley, garlic and dry milk in a large bowl. In a small bowl combine dry yeast and warm water. Stir until yeast is dissolved. Add chicken broth. Stir liquid into dry ingredients; mix well with hands. Dough will be stiff; if necessary add a little more water or stock. On a well floured surface, roll out dough to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a knife or cookie cutter into desired shapes. Transfer biscuits to cookie sheets and brush lightly with egg glase. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Turn off oven and let biscuits dry out overnight. Makes 6 - 7 dozen biscuits
