Mixed Green Salad 1 head Romaine lettuce 1 head Boston Bibb lettuce 1 pint strawberries - sliced 1 cup monterrey Jack cheese - shredded 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans - toasted Tear lettuce into bite size pieces. Add strawberries, mont. jack cheese, and pecans. Toss to mix well. Dressing: 1 cup canola oil 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 red wine vinegar 2 cloves garlic - minced 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. paprika Combine dressing ingredients in a jar with lid and shake to mix well. Pour dressing onto salad just before serving. NOTE: This makes a lot of dressing and I usually only use about 3/4 the amount it makes.
