Rosy Pink Applesauce 8 large cooking apples (3 1/2 - 4 lbs) 3/4 cup water 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 cup (4 ounces) red cinnamin candies Wash, pell, quater and core apples. Add to water in large saucepan. Cover. Simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender when pierced with a fork. Stir occassionally. Add more water if necessary. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients and stir until dissilved. Serve warm or cold. Makes 8 servings.
